Conductor Omer Meir Wellber will give his debut with the WDR Symphony Orchestra in Cologne on 6 January. On the programm will be Schubert’s symphony No. 3 as well as Shostakovitch’s symphony No. 6.

Omer Meir Wellber conducts debut concerts in Lyon and Zurich

On 16 and 17 December conductor Omer Meir Wellber will give his debut concerts with the Orchestre nationale de Lyon. Works by Wagner, Kodály and Ravel will be performed. Hilary Hahn will play Bruch’s concerto for violin.

On 21 and 22 December Omer Meir Wellber will be guest at Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich, where he will conduct works by Bernstein und Ramiréz at the annual Christmas Concert of the orchestra.
