Wellber conducts his ninth opera production at the Palau de les Arts Reina
Sofia: the premiere of Rossini’s opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia takes place on
28 February. The cast features Mario Cassi as Figaro, Silvia Vázquez as Rosina,
Edgardo Rocha as Conde de Almaviva and Marco Camastra as Bartolo. Stage
direction is by Damiano Michieletto.
Further performances will be on 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 March.
