Omer Meir Wellber at Teatro Massimo in Palermo and at the Bregenz Festival

As part of the 2021 summer season, Omer Meir Wellber will conduct the ballet Giselle with music by Adolphe Adam at the Teatro di Verdura on 29 and 30 July. The performance is a tribute to Italian dancer Carla Fracci, who was best known for her interpretations of romantic ballets, including the title role in Giselle.

Under the direction of Davide Bombana, the Teatro Massimo Ballet Company will perform Patrice Bart’s choreography, which is based on the historic choreography of the 1841 premiere by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrit. Please find more information here.
