On 16 April, Omer Meir Wellber leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in the Swedish premiere of Sven-David Sandström’s The Hidden Treasure: Contrapunctus 8, a free orchestration of Bach’s Die Kunst der Fuge. Additionally, two further interpretations will be performed, Ella Milch-Sheriffs Contrapunctus XIV and Aziza Sadikova‘s Mirroring Contrapunctus 12. For Avner Dorman’s Mandolin Concerto the orchestra and Wellber will be accompanied by mandolinist Jacob Reuven. Schumann’s Symphony No. 4 completes the program of the concert.
The concert will be broadcasted on Berwaldhallen Play and the Swedish Radio P2 16 April at 7 pm.
