On 22 June, Omer Meir Wellber hosted an event at the Radialsystem Berlin to celebrate a two year cooperation between the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin (DZHB) and the Israeli organisation Save a Child’s Heart (SACH). As the Good Will Ambassador of Save a Child’s Heart, Omer Meir Wellber welcomed the Israeli Ambassador to Germany Yakov Hadas-Handelsman, Prof. Dr. Felix Berger – Director of Pediatric Cardiology DHZB, Simon Fisher – Executive Director of SACH, Dr. Lior Sasson – SACH lead surgeon and Dr. Sagi Assa – cardiologist of SACH. Together with musician Amihai Grosz, Noa Chorin, Natalia Ladstätter, Otto Tolonen, Avi Avital, dancers Sharon Hilleli-Assa and Galia Tzur and children of the Kindertanzcompany Berlin von Sasha Waltz & Guests they created a memorable evening to present the impressive activities of Save a Child’s Heart.
The Israeli
based international humanitarian organization provides life-saving cardiac care
to impoverished children from developing countries. Besides their global
medical contributions it has a diplomatic impact upon building bridges of peace
between Israel and its Arab neighbors.
