Wellber who became Good Will Ambassador for the non-profit organization “Save a child’s heart” in September last year looks forward to supporting
the Israeli-based international organization in 2014. In the course of the past
year “Save a child’s heart” saved over 252 children from 18 countries,
trained 32 doctors and screened 734 children in
Israel and abroad.
“Save a child’s heart” provides lifesaving cardiac surgery and treatment for
children from developing countries at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon,
Israel and a training program in Israel for doctors and nurses from these
countries.
As the organisation has reached full capacity at
the Wolfson Medical Center they are building a new
children’s hospital at the Wolfson Medical Center to
bring more children to Israel for life-saving heart surgery.
