Supporting “Save a child’s heart”

Omer Meir Wellber who became Good Will Ambassador for the non-profit organization “Save a child’s heart” in September last year looks forward to supporting the Israeli-based international organization in 2014. In the course of the past year “Save a child’s heart” saved over 252 children from 18 countries, trained 32 doctors and screened 734 children in Israel and abroad.

“Save a child’s heart” provides lifesaving cardiac surgery and treatment for children from developing countries at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel and a training program in Israel for doctors and nurses from these countries.

As the organisation has reached full capacity at the Wolfson Medical Center they are building a new children’s hospital at the Wolfson Medical Center to bring more children to Israel for life-saving heart surgery.
