Premiere of “Il Trovatore” at Wiener Festwochen

Completing the Verdi trilogy of the Wiener Festwochen, Omer Meir Wellber will conduct the premiere of “Il Trovatore” at the Theater an der Wien on 26 May. On the occasion of the composer’s 200th birthday, Wellber had been assigned to conduct Verdi’s big three operas: “Rigoletto” in 2011 and “La Traviata” in 2012.
