Wellber conducts the Konzerthausorchester in the award ceremony concert of the
ECHO Klassik in Berlin on 6 October 2013. The concert will be broadcast on
German public TV ZDF on 6 October at 22:00. The online live stream of the
broadcast can be watched worldwide on the ZDF
website and will
be available online for seven days in the ZDF
Mediathek.
The ECHO Klassik is one of the best established and most well-known music
awards in the world awarded by the Deutsche Phono-Akademie – the cultural
institute of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (German music industry
association). The concert on 6 October will be presented by Nina
Eichinger and Rolando Villazón and feature artists such as Jonas Kaufmann, Sol
Gabetta, Elīna Garanča, Julia Lezhneva, Alexander Krichel, Daniel Hope and Max
Richter, Andreas Martin Hofmeir and others.
